Roubini Condemns cute Investment Labels

In a recent interview with the Financial Times, “Nouriel Roubini: Dr Doom condemns cute investment labels”, author Sophia Grene says, “Although he acknowledges there is increasing interest in emerging markets, Mr Roubini is scornful of mnemonics such as Brics, an acronym coined by Jim O’Neill, the former Goldman Sachs chief economist, to put Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in a single category of large developing economies with similar demographics and commodity resources.” - via
